Stacey and Jeff had just flown in for the weekend to celebrate Memorial Day with family, so what better a time to steal them away for a few hours …for their engagement session.  Stacey is a St. Clair Shore native … now living in Orange County California.  Jeff, well, he is exactly what one would think of as a born and raised California surfer boy- packaged along with a nice tan and amazing personality to boot.  They really are the cutest couple.  Jeff was so excited to tell us how he caught a 4lb bass while he was in Croswell.  Funny story, my Mom retired with my Step-Father in Croswell…and Stacey’s Dad lives in Croswell too.  Why do I find this funny… because I do believe there are all of 200 people living in Croswell, that could be an exaggeration.  Strangest part, this is not even how Stacey and I met- just a coincidence

We started our E session adventure on a private beach in Lexington (small nautical vacation town about 5 miles from Croswell).  We had fun playing in the sand, and I was able to (I hope) train Jeff not to touch all the strange things he sees.  Yes… Jeff, bird poop feels the same in Michigan as it does in California! lol. Stacey is an excellent “poser” and I never had to help coach her for posing (must be that background in modeling!)  They both had to endure me telling them how much I want to move to California.  I may even get a chance to snap some pics of Jeff surfing when we head to Cali for a wedding we are shooting in October.

Next stop… well, we weren’t sure -but, we were going to drive and find something, and did we ever.  We stumbled across the most amazing of locations and spent the rest of our time together playing here.  Thanks guys, for being such good sports and Stacey always watch where you walk!  I can NOT wait until Vegas baby!  WooHoo… a wedding in Vegas!

Shelley and Joel will be getting married in August 2012… with an awesome bubblegum pink/Hello Kitty theme.  I can’t wait for all the fun pictures this wedding will bring I met Shelley and Joel yesterday, to take their Engagement pictures.  What an amazing couple.  Shelley is sweet and genuine…and Joel is quiet.  So if anyone has shot with me before knows… shy isn’t how we end the day.  Shelley warned me that Joel might be a little camera shy.  Poor Joel, I teased with him and was able to bring him out of his “shell”.  We stopped by their GORGEOUS home after our session to meet their babies, Gordon and Sparky (Greyhound Rescues).  I am a HUGE animal lover (and once fundraising guru for a local group), so I was in my element when we were introduced to these boys! Talk about lovers… I had a hard time wanting to say good-bye to them… or Shelley & Joel.  HUGS GUYS– see you in a few more months!

Tracey will be shooting the wedding of Arianna and Rob in July 2012 and was just recently in Howell for their Engagement Session.  Not only are they are gorgeous couple, but Tracey gushed about how “in love” these two are and the connection they have is so intense!  Their country club wedding is going to be breathtaking.
